In her function as mayor Ms. Reker is a member of numerous bodies, associations and clubs. Thus, she is chairwoman of the supervisory board of Koelnmesse GmbH and sitting member of the supervisory board of Stadtwerke Köln GmbH as well as the advisory boards of RheinEnergie AG and NRW.Bank and the board of Städtetag NRW.
In her limited spare time, Ms. Reker likes to cook. She also enjoys taking part in Cologne's myriad cultural offerings, in particular attending classical music performances and viewing art exhibitions at Cologne's many galleries. Many of Cologne's cultural events are a fixed part of her calendar, also the annual Rose Monday Parade and the many seasonal Carnival gatherings.
