Boroughs of Cologne
Cologne is made up of nine boroughs and 86 districts. The boroughs are differentiated of being "links- or rechtsrheinisch" left or right of the Rhine, with the old town being left of the Rhine. The districts of Cologne further consist of quarters, known as "Veedel" in the Kölsch dialect.
